education within the royal mail

I am currently working for RMSS, and i am looking to go into education and further my career in the royal mail. I cannot afford to work part time, to start a part time education course. I am 24 years of age and have a young family so home learning and night courses would not be an option to me either. I am looking to do a buisiness management qualification and i would be thankfull if anyone could enlighten me to any oppertunities that are out there.

Good luck. I tried for months to get some kind of training to forward my career and got nowhere. I got management involved and the union, both couldn't care less and even rang personnel which also led nowhere. If you want to forward your career I recommend attending further education outside of work which I have done (hard work though) and then go from there. Royal Mail just don't seem to want to know, unless of course you are related to one of your managers in which case it's a completely different story from what I have witnessed at my DO about a year ago or you're one of the managers top boys. Both people now in management positions and got all the assitance and training they required.
