RMCtv : Ask Aaron Q&A

Post by POSTMAN »

Actual Q&A starts around 4 mins in after this introduction.

At great expense I can now extract the text so you can now read what is said, you lucky people! Excuse the grammar!

Right, hi everybody. and welcome to our first ask Aaron q and a. so what actually your first ask was to for me to give this a go or at least.
for me to do this and i'm willing to give it a go, but we'll see how this how this adds value and hopefully transfers into you feeling like you been heard and you get in the answers, which is a big part of why I love workplace so much it's, it's a great way to get the answers to your questions.
isn't it so I thought I'd start by sharing the highlights of the week.

By way of an introduction, so a good week overall, and two stand out, the first being a customer visit that I did on Monday at great people. interesting library services company the takeaway all the key takeaway from looking back was about sustainability, the customer shared that the criteria for the local council tenders that they're responding to included a twenty five to thirty percent waiting on corporate responsibility or brand sustainability that they called it something different, but that's that's what it was for me this really brought home.
the level of prioritization being applied in this area and it's only going to grow that customers going to win or lose tenders based on our sustainability credentials as their delivery partner.

Right now, if I assess parcel force is sustainability credentials, I don't really think we've got anything rate.
itself out of out of what rating would you give I don't feel we've got enough to support that customer and others in this area.
We certainly need to take notice of that and look to respond.

The other highlight was really centered around my time spent in the operation this week. so I've been to Preston so northwest processing center
with andy steel Billy Clark and the team there and I've been in Coventry depot with Pete Hughes and Nick Day and the team in Coventry and
great to meet all of those teams and listen to what they had to say and continue to build really build my apprecies of the um wonderful
business that is Parcelforce.

With Pete and the team in Coventry I launched our customer team and future engagement program every operational size and parcel force will get a visit from a senior leader over the course of this month and then all of the parcel force family will be engaged with next month as a follow up to launch the strategy so very important work. exhilarating, I must say that's both that visit earlier in the week in Preston and yesterday with the Coventry teams.

Look forward to meeting more teams over the coming days and weeks.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
