Pay Offer to Unite/CMA Junior and Middle Managers in Parcelforce Worldwide

We are pleased to confirm details of the pay offer made to Unite/CMA for all Parcelforce Worldwide junior and middle managers.

The offer is a 2.9% increase in basic pay and any corresponding flow through to overtime and allowances. The deal is for one year with the next pay award due in September 2022. The pay offer for Parcelforce colleagues is fully aligned to the offer for Royal Mail colleagues.

In line with our recent RMG transformation agreement, this pay deal further recognises the importance our managers play in the future of Parcelforce Worldwide. Both Royal Mail Group and Unite/CMA are committed to working together in the future.

The specific details are:
All grades - 2.9% basic pay increase from 1 September 2021 (backdated) with flow through for all overtime, allowances and regional pay (London and defined area elements of salary will increase by 2.9% for all eligible managers on incremental grades).

Both parties recognise that this offer both reflects the challenging and competitive nature of our industry as well as the contribution our managers make to our performance.

We would like to thank Unite/CMA for their constructive and engaged approach to this negotiation and we look forward to receiving confirmation of a positive ballot outcome in time to meet our November payroll.

Please note - Broadband managers in Parcelforce will have a review pot of 2.9% distributed within the junior and middle manager population and backdated from 1 September 2021.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
