Re: ParcelForce Chorley Vacancies
I got phoned this afternoon and start the 9th September
For people wondering want the post interview timetable is mine went as follows
Week following interview - E-mail and Text confirming passed assessment
Two Days Later - Phone Call offering job pending security checks giving tentative start date (mine changed) and checking security information given
Following that on website status changed to processing security checks DS and then the DS was dropped a few days later (DS = Disclosure Scotland).
Around 10 Days later status changed to Security Checks Passed
Two Days after that phone call confirming this and confirming start date
E-mail received after phone call asking for Bank Details and to fill in Uniform sheet
Quickly sent it back in and shortly after got text confirming job offer and a welcome e-mail confirming start date and location
Also note the number that Parcelforce call on is an 0743 number

After your interview did it just say "interview booked" until you heard back a week later?

Re: ParcelForce Chorley Vacancies
Yes it did, it then changed to processing offer when I got the initial passed assessment text/e-mail. My status is currently processing offer as I am waiting for the contract to arrive so I can send it back. I assume when all the admin is done it will change to hired and start date agreed.adamc39 wrote:

Re: ParcelForce Chorley Vacancies
Congrats
I'll be happy to just receive the text/email saying I've passed the interview. Already been 10 days now[/quote]
at least they havent said no straight away if its any condolance. Did they give you any idea of a start date they were aiming for. Each group of interviews were for a specific start date and i seem to remember a gap between the first few start dates and the rest so maybe they just havent got round to it yet! good luck!!

Re: ParcelForce Chorley Vacancies
The start date seemed to keep on being pushed back for me, at my interview I was told the 19th August, when I go called the first time it changed to the 26th/27th August and when I finally got my offer confirmed 2 weeks later the confirmed start date was 9th September.shapeshift wrote:
True. He said it could take 2 weeks, so am still in that ballpark. He mentioned the later groups would start in October (the ones being interviewed now I guess) and if I get the job will probably be late sept start. Fingers crossed anyway.
Cheers mate.
When I was interviewed I was told one group would start late August and another in September, if people are now being told October it suggests that the opening may have been pushed back slightly.

Re: ParcelForce Chorley Vacancies
I originally applied for processing operative but I've been offered the vehicle control operative role, which includes 2 weeks training in Coventry.. did anyone else get this role?
