Yes you are the same boogie of old have you the perfect office up north now that you have moved from the valleys of wales ?
Do you spout your anti union drivel to them now ? This site is not appreceative of people who by derisive propaganda try to undermine the union who are fighting a bad employer in royal mail. Whilst you by definition wish to be subserviant to your masters. We just want to come in and do our work , go home without being screwed by areshole* like you with your favouriteism traits filtered down from :lfo :cfo

What tidal wave is this then? I know of many that have joined the union when this all kicked off.boggie wrote:the union will have to cease as they are already under pressure with a tidal wave of people stopping their deductions they will just be a minority union with very few members and little power.
in our office at least 20 people have stopped their deductions out of a staff of 62. this would have been unthinkable 5 years ago and every worker would have been in the union.
the future is damn bleak, and getting bleaker by the day. being on strike is something our ancestors did as well as s**t in the gutter, it has no place in this century.

Why do so many narrow minded people keep saying, "If you don't like it, leave." I read it everywhere, on here, the BBC, in newspapers, Sky etc. Can they not understand that it is the fact that we do like our jobs and the SERVICE we provide that we will not leave, nor will we give in. There are too many of these 'me, me, me, only me. I'm so important, me, me." Oh well, whatever floats your boat.

Yours might have s**t in the gutter, but even that is better than being a s**t in the gutter which is how you have turned out. I'm very pleased my ancestors went on strike. If thet hadn't, your heroes, the ruling class, would still be sending Africans for sale in America, sending kids down mines and up chimneys and we would be on a 56 hour, six day week. Jog on fuckface.boggie wrote:being on strike is something our ancestors did as well as s**t in the gutter, it has no place in this century.

If you don't like the job then leave.... This is how we are in Britain now.... so what else happens in Britain that we don't like.
Oh we kill 11 year olds with guns, and have people stabbed to death every day.... You don't like that then leave.
We have terrorists here too... You don't like that then leave.
Our Government tells lies and goes to war on them..... You don't like that then leave.
The Majority of our kids live below the poverty line.... You don't like that then leave.
We have the most lax employment laws in Europe... You don't like that then leave.
The gap between the rich and poor thanks to those laws grows ever bigger.... You don't like that then leave.
If you don't want to strike, get into that office and work. But remember you won't be very popular with certain colleagues and you will find little sympathy with whatever problems you encounter, or whenever you wish a holiday swap or someone to cover your shift...... but..........
......
......
..... If you don't like that, then erm, LEAVE!

I think there is a secret cabal at RM HQ who took six months and £1.3 million to come up with this slogan its repeated so often. Boggie - a good name for the spawn og gutter shitters
Thank god for people like Winston Churchill - and I ain't no Tory. But boggie would have been with the appeasers like Neville Chamberlain who wanted to lie down to Hitler and let him roll over us because there was no point in fighting as he was stronger and going to win anyway.
Well, he didn't - do you know why boggie - because this country united behind Churchill and many brave men and women gave their lives to defend this democracy and eventually to free occupied Europe.
But that takes courage and the ability not to always be a Thatcherite and think only of self-gain and self-interest.
And the lesson for us, to be united, to support our union, our colleagues and our customers and not to accept the s**t that is handed down from on high through the serried ranks of ass-licking managers - most of whom should have been sacked years ago for inefficiency, stupidity and doing nothing and because they have no respect from their staff.
Back to DEMOCRACY - that's the thing that protects and enshrines the right of free trade unionists to organise and to defend themselves against rapacious company owners and management. We are just part of the long chain of proud social reformers and trade unionists who have never accepted that their place is in the gutter for all time. That's where the sh***s belong.
The CWU may not be the best union in the world - but you know what? A union is only as good as its members and I'm delighted to hear that boggie's friends in his office are out of the union - this is a testing time for us all and a time when cowards are exposed - no matter what whingeing excuses they make - and trade unionists can stand tall and proud.
And to our female members - let's always remember the hard-won struggle for female emancipation carried out by their grannies and great-grannies - they didn't stand for any s**t and I'm sure - unlike boggie's forebears - they didn't s**t in the street either.

Given the above, if people had enough money I`m sure quite a few of them would leave. However the reality is if you can`t do that then you stay and try to change things. Same applies to the job.plodsie wrote: so what else happens in Britain that we don't like.

Re: Boggie - a good name for the spawn og gutter shitters
Superb post! And very true. I'm glad our parents and grand-parents had more bottle than these scabby bastards crossing picket lines (including the CMA scum). Every bit of freedom we enjoy is because ordinary people fought back against injustice. We owe the scab nothing, we owe the boss nothing and we owe the arse licking so-called manager nothing.mailjock wrote:Thank god for people like Winston Churchill - and I ain't no Tory. DO TRY HARDER HELLMAIL !
This is the one that spoke of Royal Mail's contingency plans to deliever the mail!!, that worked well from all those mothballed offices didn't it ? . The other one was any slight against non-strikers will result in you sharing a cell with hairy knuckle draggers who'll seranade you to sleep. Stockport did well with the grass getting someone sacked and everybody walking out . That'll look good in a ET ??!. Oh ! the other one, everyone to the left of Thatcher was a card carrying SWP member .With that political "knowledge & insight " he'll have to go on Any Questions representing Royal Fail. Yes we must have "flexibility" go to work when it's dark and go home when it's dark, nothing like going back 80-100years due to "business savvy & commercial realities " .axeman wrote:Yes you are the same boogie of old have you the perfect office up north now that you have moved from the valleys of wales ?

I agree this past on-line comedy turn is like Gus out of Drop the Dead Donkey , one little point ,that was broadcasted in the early 90's , it's now 2007 !, but it's us knuckle dragging 'trots "that are living in the past of course!. Seen plenty of them , poacher turned gamekeepers going on the road to Damuscus . One ex-rep learn't his lesson the hard way @ The Zoo.

the union is not against change and you would know that if you listened to both sides of the dispute you blinkered prick, we want change that will benefit all of us who work in this service not just managers and top brass this is not a race to the bottom its a race to save the service.Ex RM Manager wrote:Ah, I invoke Godwin's Law.
