now the cwu back in talks with new management team and agreeing to new revisions how about getting the hour back for the shorter working week that we were promised last october . you will soon see if they have changed or NOT

So no recruitment is currently going on, a large amount of sickness or self isolation, many Posties can't drive which means inefficiencies, .....then the shorter working week comes in....

Would be mayhem. It would surely have to be delayed until this pandemic is over and a new revision is done.

The 2nd hour of the SWW was subject to the implementation of the results of the trials as well as ongoing efficiency and operational changes and an agreement on how it could be funded. It was also tied to the pay review for April 2020.

Be careful what you wish for.

Kind of.
It was all bundled up in the Four Pillars agreement so you buy the car you take the seats and steering wheel with it.

It was poorly implemented and the union allowed too much local s**t to go on but in theory it shouldn't mean that.
