28 May 2020, 15:52

I got told to leave packets and make sure all mail goes
28 May 2020, 16:42
probably trying to prove we are a parcel business so we can go to a 5 day week no urgency for the letters
28 May 2020, 16:53
So what happens Monday when u get the parcels only shaft from the Saturday?
With the bank holiday and the keeping of the mail from Saturday I claimed 2 and a half hours overtime.
If they refuse to pay you won't ever get on top of it.
28 May 2020, 17:43
Should have got it authorised before hand. Generally there has been a cap on o/t in delivery. Yes things don’t get straight till Thursday but it ain’t our prob.

28 May 2020, 19:12
Even before all the coronavirus the office used to run on ot and casuals/agency
28 May 2020, 19:13
Pal in other office bin told , if you finish early , you have to come in early next day to make it up
28 May 2020, 19:43
There is current national policy of no overtime to be paid on Saturday & Monday while the current trial is ongoing. Three more weekends including this coming weekend then we go back to doing the job properly I think.
There is not a national no overtime policy for the remaining days of the week. There is not a reason to not pay overtime if it is required to clear the mail backlog in a DO. Maybe its a case of the DOM trying to preserve or increase their bonus.
28 May 2020, 20:13
Any overtime you want at ours.

There's no overtime paid on delivery if you go over your time, there's still overtime if they want you to work rest days.
