AFAIK and it may only be rumours around the DO but you only loose a certain percentage for each day sick. Wildcat strikes loose 10% so sick days will probably be less. The figure banded around my DO is 3-5%.bowlesfan wrote:can you be made to pay back the xmas bonus of £ 100 if you go sick during xmas pressure?
If you do owe anything they will take it from your pay directly on or about pay date 25th January 2008, but might be worth giving the pay people a ring to see where you stand.

Its based on the 4 weeks running into xmas. You lose 25% of bonus each week you are sick during that period.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:AFAIK and it may only be rumours around the DO but you only loose a certain percentage for each day sick. *For each full week where basic pay is reduced for Sick Pay Pension Rate, the individual will
lose one quarter of the supplement.
*For each full week where basic pay is reduced for Sick Half Pay, the individual will lose
one-eigth of the supplement.
There does not seem to be any abatement for less than a full week off sick.
