That was the busiest day of xmas pressure today , and when i got back from delivery managers were waiting to try and get staff to stay behind and clear a few days worth of packets .

Dead today only went to about 60% of the houses - even had time to go back on one missort at the end - done at midday - let us out at 0845 - would have finished earlier but although I only got £5 in tips over pressure, got about 1/2 bottle of whisky with all the shots I got from customers. Image.

Oh and AFAIK we cleared everything.

worst xmas ever this year all last week we carried over at least 2 yorks of letters to the next day and we had people in on overtime to sort them at the end of last week
im afraid this is what you get when you cost cut.... leighton and co should take note and the goverment should be placing most of the blame for this shambles right at there feet !!

All though we did clear it was to close for my likeing and if 50 pkt's or the sky mag's came in it would have failed this is as bad as i ever have seen it this cannot be allowed to happen next year. Royalmail must learn from this and put more resouce's in earlier next year!.
