BOOKING IN ON SPS IN CALLERS OFFICE?

Regarding booking in docket left items on the SPS in the Callers Office;
Are there any OFFICIAL times you can or cannot start booking in? ie that would be recognized as a failure.
There seems to be some confusion over this.

BOOKING IN ON SPS IN CALLERS OFFICE?

Not as far as i know, we have booked in at all hours of the day even at night at xmas. The only thing would be say if your were putting yesterdays D/L on first thing this morning you might want to click on yesterdays date for when the card was left, otherwise you would have those items showing as a D/L on the 15th when it was actually the 14th.

Agree with previous post.
There is no official time.

However, if items from yesterday were booked in after the time your callers office opened this morning then they would show up in a report.

I have no idea who monitors that information but i know for a fact that it is monitored. I think it's if a certain percentage of items are booked in after the callers office opening time from previous days.
Although we had that alot at times when we first got SPS and management couldn't decide how best to manage booking in items - allocating the time to do it etc - around 60-70% of items were booked in after opening some days to the point we refused to open unless it was all done. WE didn't want to be sorting through mountains of items not booked in just to try and serve a customer. M<anagement soon sorted that out.
