Carbon Footprint

Post by meoldcocker »

We are all told that Britain is supposed to be reducing it's carbon footprint
Royal Mail on the other hand seems hellbent on doing the opposite
First they take away the TPO's send everything by road
Now in my office Romford we send a lot of our work into (westwards ) ELDC
It is then sent by another lorry out to areas beyond us (eastwards ) e.g SS, CM, NR, IP even Basildon
Surely common sense should have said send the lorry to Romford and load up for these destinations and not take it all into ELDC and out again :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

East London??

Hi to the East London drivers at our office today, hope you did'nt get into to much trouble due to our Mail Centre Manager hitting your lorry with the fork-lift :left:
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

I though Crozier and Leighton had banned anything resembling common sense, before they started ruining the Service!
