Are you parking up and using the trolley to deliver post and parcels and then using the van to deliver oversized stuff?

You should advise the screws ASAP if your workload is too much, they do f**k all for their money so let them figure it out.

Yeah that was oversimplified but it depends on a few factors
"A third of the world's farmland is now useless due to soil degradation, yet we still keep producing mouths to feed. And what's you answer to that? Energy saving lightbulbs?"

Don't panic, you probably wont be able to deliver everything on your walk at Christmas and it is up to your managers to actually manage the situation for you. Priority should go to clearing mail and tracked packets everyday, everything else gets done eventually. In our place we have people out from 0630 to start clearing packets and I've seen walks with 4 yorks full of oversize stuff waiting several days before it gets taken out. It's not your problem how much stuff there is to deliver so if you want to finish on time you can (make sure you follow the cut off procedure) or if you want overtime there is plenty to be had.
We're all here because we're not all there

Thanks for the advice, i will do what i can in the time that i have and claim overtime if needed. I dont use trolley as loops are quite small and i can fit packets in bag and carry 1 bundle of letters, when i have oversized packets then i do them at end of loop, at mo its occasional oversized packet so ok.
I guess i will just have to wait and see how xmas goes.
