Good morning
I am hoping to transfer office from the South East to Ross on Wye. There is an internal vacancy which I am hoping to apply for. Before I do, I was hoping to have a quick chat with the office concerned to flag up to them that my application is on its way, and as it is only a 20hr contract, if there is any possibility of overtime (I'm currently on a 30 hr contract but always end up working 'full time').
Is there anyone on this forum who might have a local number they could pm me with - or any hints about how to obtain one? (other than asking my current manager, which I am loath to do at this stage in case it all comes to nothing).
thank you - really pleased to have found this forum too :-)

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
