Walking to work

Post by night slasher »

just found out that a couple of guys in our office (one due for retirement shortly ) that live in the next village ,that used to get a lift in the morning via CONVIEANCE now told have to walk in- on shanks pony .
The walk in is a long one if taken by road , so looks like they'll be legging it over the fields etc during dark mornings !!!!
Is this the normal practice or ?
or just another go at Hard working postmen.
THEY DONT WANT US TO WORK - DO THEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we had Exec Act put in our office in May,amongst other things they took away our mini bus that used to pick some of our guys up.
This was a deal we had when we moved offices.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
