I WAS ON AN INDUSTRY WALK TODAY DELIVERED ABOUT 20 SPECIALS TO ONE COMPANY
AFTER 14.00 HOURS TOLD THE FIRM TO CLAIM COMPENSATION AS THESE ARE GUARANTED
BY 13.00HRS.

Any reggies i cant fit in i refuse to take i dont care what they want plenty of lazy managers sitting about in the office and they are so quick to do opg work they can take out the reggies.

I think the contract is with the sender of the specials and as such the sender and not the recipient has to claim. So unless the recipient informs the sender or the sender checks the items on track and trace they may not know they can claim. Also it depends a bit on whether or not the PHG's gun in the specials as being delivered late.

i think you will find there has been a suspension on confirmation times(well thats what our dim is telling us) we asked about them as we cant get any for our last bags delivered before 1 o'clock and was told not to worry about it......they will change the time at some point though

I asked my manager about specials being delivered after 1.00 and he's not bothered I'm the PHG who confirms them and he tells me at 14.00 to confirm them all. Yet another example of management not giving a toss about the customer :lfo :cfo

It would depend if you had a vehicle or not and if they were high value or not.
