No One Leaving The Office..

Post by P739 »

Had words with my line manager about this for instance part time , full time guys boxing roads in and ready to go and just leaving guys behind....According to my line manager this will be i thing of the past. Guys that have tied up and are ready to go will need to help those guys out that aren't ready(You have to ask for the help) So the full office gets out in time...How is it in your office.?

the way it works in our office is in our group of 5 walks the part timer is the floater.
we each have a designated duty we put up when that postie is on his day off.
so its down to the postie putting up the walk for the part timer to have it up.
part timer does redirections and drop bag when he comes in

Collapsing walks comes to mind amongst other things.
We posties do things differently, but we still get shot at!

Part timers get some of their walk thrown in by the full timer who gets pulled off the IPS.
If 1 guy is ready before another on the same van it's either a case of 'I'll take you out first and come back'or 'Tough s**t you'll have to wait'. Most of my office are to selfish to help someone else out. They'd rather sit on their arse, play cards or gas than actualy help someone out who's struggling.
