worrying news

Post by nottsposties daddy »

ive just this min had a txt msg telling me that east london, liverpool and glasgow are now out on unofficial strike, apparently its been on radio 1 news.
so being an old codger i didnt hear it but my lad did.
now im presuming this is all down to royal mail managers approach to staff when they return to work after the strike, however i could be wrong, its been known before, i think it was 1974 or 5 not sure now.
sorry just my attempt at injecting a little humour into what could potentially be a very nasty situation,(and prob not the time or place for it really in all honesty)

if anybody else has heard any other stories like this i woluld be intersted

Rm must be getting desperate.. And are now resorting to this! They know they are shafted so they are trying every trick in the book...
Lets keep a lid on this and not play straight into their hands... We really are making a difference lets not ruin it again!!!

I spoke to my area rep today, and apparently these wildcat strikes are due to word out about us losing the entire 4 days strike pay this week.

Watch this space.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
