The Time has arrived!

Post by stephen500 »

'Well my friend the time is here! '(lionel Richie).
Why have talks dragged on into this morning?
Well its simple, the talks this morning will not succeed but why you ask?
RM are waiting to see if the members support their union this weekend.
They are hoping that the strikes will have less support then last time.
If they see a significant dilution of support then they will become even more strident in their demands.
If we remain strong then the union will have its position strengthend.
It really is up to us!
Its time to choose!

Spot on,couldn't put it better myself. At a meeting last night in front of 100 members i stood up and said the same thing.
If we show weakness now then RM will go for the knockout blow and try and destroy this union. However if the support is as strong as last time RM will back down and see sense, this is not just about pay, flexibility, pensions its about destroying the CWU.

Yes, here we go. I'm hoping for another excellent show of support/strength from our DO. last time we had 100% out and up to twenty-odd on the picket
One of my colleagues went collecting for food for the B-B-Q and received a good response.
Bring it on, oh and Royal Mail....... STOP f***ing WITH MY LIFE. JUST PAY ME FOR WHAT I DO!!!!!
