CONSPIRACY THEORY
CONSPIRACY THEORY
I am 100% behind the union as regards strike action!
The problem I have is to why the Government and Leighton And co
Seem to want to destroy the Royal Mail!
Ask yourselves why, because the government feel that it is a liability they would sooner wash their hands of.
There is one person who would like to get their hands on the Royal Mail, and that person is Rupert Murdoc!
Is the service that the Royal Mail provides getting worst, our more and more members of the public becoming disillusioned with the whole state of affairs?
We our losing a lot of work to other competitors i.e. businesses are changing over to try and get a better service even though we are still delivering their mail!
The facts:
1.Rupert Murdoc has always expressed an interest in the Royal Mail.
2. The government are making no effort to resolve the problems.
3. Our competitors are sub-contracting the work back onto the Royal Mail because they haven’t got the capacity to cope with the volumes of mail.
4. The government have just taken on a £40 billion loan.
5. Where would the government get the £40 billion from to repay the loan?
This is where our old friend Rupert comes in an offer to make the British postal service great again if the government allow him to purchase it and make it a private company.
Which means he wouldn’t have to worry about the regulator or postcom? So he would be able to do just has he pleases to make a profit.
Why do think his hatchet man Leighton was put in charge so that he could dismantle the service. All this without worrying or caring about people livelihoods.
Think about this, because in a few years time you could have SKY MAIL delivering to your homes!
Once again I would like to thank Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and the Labour party for their find efforts in destroying one of the finest, if not the finest mail service in the world today!

theres definitely something going on here. I think those with the power at Royal Mail actually WANT privatisation.
If Royal Mail went private then surely they could tell the likes of TNT, UKMail etc to f**k off and refuse to deliver all of their items. RM would get all of that business post back again. Also, the other companies wont have the infastructure to compete with Royal Mail and any attempt to offer a national postal service by these companies would be extremely high cost and high risk.

They've wanted it for years. That's why Bill Cockup left when the Tories failed to do it in 1995. Bill wanted a knighthood, and all he got was a tin pot commission in the TA.kanuuuuuu wrote:theres definitely something going on here. I think they want us open fully to the EU regulations
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
Only the bits that are beneficial to Big Business (which is most of it). They don't want to comply with the bits on human rights which give us more union negotiating rights and the right to withdraw our labour. Blair even boasted to Business Leaders that the UK has the most restrictive anti-union legislation in Europe, although he opposed it when it was introduced by the Thatcher Goverment.

at some point, it seems to me that Government started to represent the wishes of Big Business and that we, the people they claim to represent, exist only as consumers of the products Business manufactures. Naturally business pays it's employees as little as possible whilst extracting the maximum possible labour - yet fails to realise that the products business provides can only ever be purchased by employees and thus, the same people they underpay who therefore often have very limited resourcves with which to participate in the global capitalist economy.
Hmm. Time for breakfast I think.

RM could play the hostile aggressive takeover route and drive the competition out of business,it's not the first time we've had private monopolies . Walmart work that way in the USIWW Fellow Worker wrote:They've wanted it for years. That's why Bill Cockup left when the Tories failed to do it in 1995. I think all governments since the 17 century have represented the wishes of big business. The English Civil War began the change from looking after the landed gentry to looking after the rising merchant class. We're at the stage, and have been at least since the 1960s when the venture capitalist with nothing to offer other than his connections in the business world has come to the fore. Hence, we have a failed FA official and a cat food salesman running (or rather, running down) Royal Mail.

If not true then it certainly is not beyond the bounds of possibility.
