Serves You Right!

Post by IWW Fellow Worker »

Does anyone remember a while ago when I mentioned a 'manager' who gave a postwoman a Stage 1 for being absent after having a breast lump removed? I can't go into detail, but after some discrepancy was found in his figures (not financial, I must add) he's been put back to being a postman. Back to having to work for a living for that 'thing'. To call it a man would doing a diservice to the language. What goes around comes around!

Quite a few people around the North West who know this scumbag are currently laughing like one of these:

There's as much chance of that as there is him campaigning against breast cancer mate. One horrible short-arsed turd if ever there was one.

The tragedy is that when these people don a suit and tie they seem to lose self respect, morals, principles and good judgement and gain self importance, arrogance and grazed knuckles.

Yes, I'd agree with you from what I've seen of these specimins over the years. This individual has made cock-ups all over this area and they've always been covered up in the past with it ending up being moved to a different office. This has probably led to it thinking it could do as it wished.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Usual Royal Fail Double Standards
First one was a blue bag allegedly "disappearing' from the locker . This got leaked to the paper but for the second time the IB said there was no case to answer . However that publicity gave RM a problem so there was a Crown Court Case when a postie was prosecuted for secreting. The problem didn't go away for RM due to the ram raid after the van was followed from Manchester. The Police were interested in that SM's "interesting" commitments and circumstances so RM duly promoted him to another MC .
The next one was the "property speculating " MCM and "accounting issues". He resigned to persue another career .
There was a well publicised systematic staff thieving case giving RM a problem ,however her relatives had to the decency to resign instead of the brassnecked arrogance in the next case, the IB got a manager for pinching coins that had fallen from the mail , it was all on film and the coins marked with dye . The IB told him to resign or we'll prosecute . The manager was suspended and eventually sacked , the appeal failed . That manager kept delaying the Magistrates Court hearings and refused to plead guilty . He only pleaded guilty when threatened with the case being moved to Crown Court which means a possibility of Prison for P*****g people about . The local rag headline was RM manager escapes Prison by the skin of his teeth for £42. There still is a lot of "respect " for him as he was "unlucky " and just had a problem with the bandits . His missus thought differently as she wanted to know why he was doing all that petty thieving and it wasn't just for the fruit machines .
