Stage Warnings

Post by KilliePostie »

i got a call today as i was about to start delivery from the DOM. i had got a Stage One attendance warning in February this year, but he said that the paperwork for it couldn't be found and was asking if i still had my signed copy of the warning/back to work meeting. i was told that if i couldn't find it (february FFS - i'm not an archive. i've hada look about but can't lay my hands on it) then i'd have to be reissued with a fresh Stage One warning starting from this week.

is this right? can they do this? it's not my fault that the DOM is useless! why should my Stage 1 be rebooted just cos they've fecked up the paperwork (seven months later)?

that's what i thought. i don't know why a warning from February has suddenly cropped up today. i was totally taken off guard and could only mumble "err yeah i'll have a look for it" before i could even think "WTF was that?"

i'll be having a word with my rep tomorrow, thanks.

Surely the information would be on there computer, thats how they get the information to issue stage warnings. I can't see them re issuing it 7 months down the line.........incompetent idiots. Take your rep in with you 2morrow morning to see your dim
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Thats like getting lifted for nicking something. Getting 1 years probation and then 7 months later the courts say sorry we lost the paperwork if you can't prove it your probation starts now.      .

In actual fact its a double punishment and must be illegal.

stage warnings

Post by Leyton Crozier »

I'm amazed you guys think you'll get a fair hearing. The attendance procedure is abused by managers on a daily basis. Stage warnings issued as a matter of course and routine RTU sackings for people with over 20 years service. Been in hospital? tough! Accident on duty? tough! Been off with stress due to management bullying? tough! Get real these are not nice people. :mad

Well i know that the civil service people dont get taken down the stages if they are hospitalized.. so basically if any of us has a bad run of ill health out of our control we are without a job! :cfo

Got it in one mate. I've seen four blokes sacked in the last couple of years all of whom had over 15 years service. For three of them it was their first RTU. We appealed of course but you're sacked by a manager and your appeal is heard by a manager. So you got no chance really. Forget IT because it is all done in accordance with a national agreement and we hardly ever win. :lfo

FOR ME N U... BUT I THINK TO MYSELF... WTF AM I DOING WORRYING ABOUT THESE TOSSERS FOR :cfo :lfo WHEN I GOT TO KEEP MY JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE SO THEY CAN SACK ME AGAIN...

RM are, when it comes to sweeping shite under the carpet, THE BEST... BAR NONE....

LIES that people have been shot for treason for in the first world war RM dont blink an eye to..

BULLYING that people have been banged up for in the past RM sweep them aside as if it never happened..

INCOMPITANCE that a postman has done have been sacked as is on the cards but RM just move and promote screws who do just the same..

WE fight for our lives here and in some cases more than just a job... Its there livelyhood long term...

Many as i have been have been made unemployed by RM for firstly going sick thru stress and being bullied.. I stood up and put my H&B/Grievence in.. BULLSHITE BULLSHITE BULLSHITE!! RM find me Guilty.. PUT me on a CofC !!!!!!!

Im still off long term not knowing when i can come back thru this shite.... RM and me will be in a court soon... Ive put my appeal in ave seen my union and a brief from when i was told by the union i would have to RE-APPLY to the union that ive NEVER LEFT..... Nice move CWU... So i see a legal PROFFESSIONAL..

Gives me more info in2 hours for a flat fee of £60 than the union have in over 12 years... Money well spent??? I still say yes im a Union member thru thick and thin..... Im backing my union.... STILL But will they back me???? HQ and Simpson and Miller i mean???? I got backing from mates and SOME local REPS but politics involved it is a messy business!!! :d'oh! I want to fight RM on one side ive not got time money or the will to fight the union HQ and legal team before i get justice!!!!! I just hope ANYBODY IN ANY KIND OF SHITE HIGHLIGHT IT AND GET A LOT OF FACTS AND FIGURES TO BACK YOURSELF UP WITH COZ RM WILL CHUCK THE KITCHEN SINK AT YA AND THE SHITEY DIRTY WATER AS WELL... They know no mercy... As if im asking for any from them scumbags!!!! :no no :so there :no no

FIGHT EM ANYWHICH WAY WE CAN... Any spot or point of argument FIGHT IT... Dont let anything slip.... Not one issue... or a minute.... WE HAVE RIGHTS.. ITS ABOUT TIME THE CWU MADE US SURE AND CLEAR OF OUR RIGHTS,. SIMPSON AND MILLER.... GET YA FECKING FINGERS OUT AND DONT MAKE THIS ANOTHER "WAYBACKWARD DEAL" THAT OUR MATE KEGGIE GAVE US ON A PLATE.... :no no :no no :no no :no no :no no

IM IN THE UNION BUT WILL THE UNION STAND AND FIGHT????
