We're getting another Have Your Say form in our office. It's because the levels of bullying from managers was unusually high after the February one. They're hoping for an improvement, but I doubt they will see any sign of one. All the managers are still in place and nothing has changed. Sometimes I wonder why they bother, but I suppose it's keeping someone in a job.

How often are these meant to come round. I've been in 4 years and have only ever filled 1 in . Perhaps they think I am a militant so are hiding it from me.

Lets face it Have your Say is just another management tool,one purpose of which is to create a false impression of inclusion, dialogue and mutual respect.

We had our say ,a ballot, don't think they listened.

It really is a nice little tool for perpetuating the company culture of harrasment and bullying. Sure the bit where you get to slag of your manager feels satisfying but i'd guess that little black mark is used by senior managers to "encourage" him to put extra efforts into reaching his targets, and so it goes on.

I've never filled in my time sheets ,cos it's job n knock and I will never take part in RM's sham consultation exercise.

Dont forget in research terms each blank form is a finding in itself. Sure complete the form if you think management have your best interests at heart, but they ain't listening so I ain't talking. :cfo

Sorry what I meant was not HYS survey not manager but we will break our new DUM soon enough

but you're right the place runs more smoothly whenever the manager(s) are not about - strange that

Certainly worth considering rather than just binning it.

I feel EVERYBODY should just put REFUSED TO SIGN across every page and give it back...
Then when RM want a feedback from us.. You can bet your bottom dollar it aint there to make it better for us in our workplace... DO ME A FAVOUR!!!

loads of us just returned a blank form last time and we all had to sit through a wtl session to do em again loads of comments about bullying but nothing had been done when our som was pressed about the results all he said is we cant define changing working practices as bullying so it dont matter what we put on the forms they allways define the results to suit them

i've not gone to a wtl session for about 2 years, they've not given me a HYS form, probably worried about what i've got to say about managerial bullying!!

complete waste of time if you ask me, since our dum and his trusty sidekick turned up about 18months ago we have had 2 "have your say" and on both people stated the same things about the management's attitude and nothing has been done, to illustrate a point i booked OT the other day the 1st time in 4 years as it was a heavy day, and the DOM questioned why i had done it, funny how they overlook 15 other people doing the same thing every day, this was also mentioned in the have your say and as far as i'm aware the results have not even been displayed, despite numerous requests

Used to fill them out properly in the early days years back but as it has got worse the answers have and I choose a different ethnic group and very briefly change sex when each one comes, the dum tried buying us all a cup of tea (which tasted awful, god knows what they put in it) from the canteen for the last one in the hope we might put something positive down, it didn't work
