Transfer to coventry

I'm wondering if theres anyone here from coventry mail centre and can tell me any info on the possibility of a transfer there?
I have been waiting on a transfer from scotland to coventry for 18 months now and had no word apart from a letter mentioning i was on a waiting list which i got 18 months ago.

We sent a couple of people to Coventry a few weeks ago, but then again, it's what they deserved after all the Sausage Chips And Beans they'd been eating

18 months is nothing compared to the time some poor sods have been waiting. I was lucky myself, only waited about 2 years.
Only advice I can give you is keep ringing the staffing department of the office you want to transfer to. The last time I rang my intended office I was told I'd been accepted a few weeks ago but they hadn't got round to telling me yet

They should also be able to tell you where you are on the list. How many other people are waiting to transfer to that office who applied before you. That could give you idea of how long your wait could be.

Coventry is one of the mail centres thats closing. Operations moving up here to Northants.

But they aint even found anywhere to build it yet have they.
