What a pain,i mean 'Bob Smith' or 'The occupier' if it aint Bob Smith who lives there then for some reason these numnuts dont think they're the occupier.
Lost count the amount of times i've had to explain it to them, for them to then refuse to sign, and one bloke after bout 5 mins told me he was a builder and doesn't live there!!!

They're doing a purge round my way,you guys getting any?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Yes,been getting them over the last week or so,know it's a pain but at least it's extra revenue for us,as every penny seems
to count at the mo!(Btw.. seem to recall something about a fine because we weren't getting enough signatures!!..anybody else heard this?)

Let me get this right; you delivered the items without getting sigs and just scanned them into RMGTT as delivered even before you'd gone out on delivery?!

Not quite - I had to do confirm the time I dropped them and wrote "Confirmed Delivered" and signed it myself for each one.

So they weren't delivered with a sig obtained from someone at the recipient address?

They were delivered to the address on the envelope, but signed for by you??

I work in the enquiry office and have got about 200 of the blighters!!
Drive me round the twist!!!
No one ever picks them up,but if the do come in (curiosity killed the cat) and find out what it is they say the recipient has move out. Its pointless to try and tell them it's for the occupier aswell so I just sign them up as refused.

I HATE THEM!!!!!
