We steam them off,we go through a kettle a month at our place.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Just to let everyone know he is joking before anyone starts making ridiculous confessions.
We had a post office worker sent to prison for such shenanigans. (Took them off the packets the posties pouched off and sold them again)

I Don’t cross them off no more that's their problem. They supposed to have top of the range machines to do that. Machines My arse! When you get managers mithering about smoke breaks and toilet breaks I give them nothing these days not even the steam of my (you what I was going to say).
In fact the other day I had a reggie with over £5 of stamps on and I left them on.
Re-using stamps is actually fraud.

Yer lazy bugger you... only 10 quid?

Seriously you've hit the nail on the head with my NUMBER 1 Royal Mail peeve. Every day I cancel around £20 with quick swipes of my biro on IPS. Does RM cancel ANY stamps at Christmas???? I did over £100(??) inc. packets (a day) over that time and yet now I'm seeing (what looks like) loads of un-cancelled stamps re-stuck to other items of mail.

Customers think RM is as a thick as a plank when their able to reuse these stamps.... come on people lets at least get paid for taking all this sh1t out!
