Has anyone heard whether the D2D's will stop during the "pressure" at Xmas or will the "Elves" at the Sales and Marketing Dept of the R.M. carry on regardless?.

I'm not in the slightest bit apprehensive.
I'll work my hours and if, as I suspect, that means half my round plus half of my d2ds coming back, then so be it.

and yet again another christmas on the horizon, mail centres flooded with extra staff, delivery staff get no help whatsoever, expected to cope with all the extra mail as well as D2D - Looks like being one bag a day over the festive season for me

Think about it in Layman terms guys, we are going to be bent over a table and shafted by RM for D2D's sorry Live Mail this Christmas and it ain't gonna be a poxy 2,3,4 or 5 these week's, probably more - as all we're going to deliver will be Companys advertising whats in store for the big Boxing Day sales.
