I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Do not be surprised if the CWU have sold your right to vote on this. Personally if i can't vote on it i will be £3 better off.gb93 wrote:The question i would like answered is, when will we get to vote.
The term double standard, coined in the early 1950s, refers to any set of principles containing different provisions for one group of people than for another. VOTE.... fcuk it whats the point

My thoughts on this agreement?
The CWU have forgotten who's side they are meant to be on.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.

Re: POLL:How are you going to vote?
i don't just want 'some idea' tho. that could be anything. there has to be more detail. i know it's not a popular opinion, but i still feel it could work out better for me, if i get a four day week. ok, so maybe i'll be out for longer, but i'm on my feet for 10 hours anyway, and i'd rather be out moving about than stood sorting with my legs seizing up and my back and neck aching from looking up at the idiot board.
but then again, i know there's more to it than just what suits me, so i suppose i better research some more before i decide for the good of the whole.

Re: POLL:How are you going to vote?
I've had a read through the agreement and all I can say is - WTF are the CWU leadership thinking????
A 1 hour reduction in the working week
now how are they going to do that, 12 minutes a day but all to be agreed at a local level (with my manager there is no agreement only do what I say). There is nothing in this agreement that addresses any of my main concerns - the excessive workload, the bullying, the unfair attacks constantly made on staff etc.
Aw well, off to watch B5 and then to the off licence for a big bottle of drink to try and cheer myself up

I was prepared and expected massive change but i did not and will not accept it at a financial lose.
