Go on, Wed and Thu - haven't they heard of Mon and Fri - who's invited? Anyone or just anyone who is anyone - you know who I mean.............

If this is the deal of the century, the best deal ever, mind bogglingly earth shattering - it shouldn't need explaining, it should sell itself - OR - is this another 2007 sell it to the troops deal?

So are we going to be told what this deal is or what - believe it or not the membership ARE capable fo reading and writing, not necessarily at the same time but I'm sure if they told us the deal today we would have sussed out the salient points by the end of next week all by ourselves AND made up our mind if this is a goer or not.

This implies a copy will be public by Tuesday evening as it would soon leak out from those in attendance at the NB.

Presumably PEC are reviewing the "Agreement" and it will then go before the officers on 10th/11th! Branches will then recommend it to the footsoldiers, everybody votes, biff, bash, bosh! Shafted once again!!!!
Remember when this was a good job! Anybody?

Once the pec have voted to accept the proposed agreement, the national briefing will be confirmed and the agreement will be circulated to all branches.
The pec meet tomorrow, so it could be by the weekend that we get to see the deal!!

In the 18 years I was with RM I have never known it not to be the case that details of an agreement are on BBC and Sky news days before the rank and file members are allowed to know :arrrghhh

Agreed if there is a recommendation one way or the other then there is no more need for secrecy.
The only exception would be if the PEC asks for ammendments.
