The deal on the table???

Post by mclovin »

Anyone have any idea whats in it? I heard RM have admitted they need a 75/25 FT/PT split and they're offering 6% pay rise over 3 years. Is this true?

Nothing last year, so that's just 1.5% per year.

Heard it's only 1% a year for 3 years, massive cut in jobs and a shorter working week (brought in over the next 5 years). UNION WHAT UNION we could do better on our own, they dont even have the decency to tell us what's going on

Keep this to yourselves but I've heard the Union are having a TWO DAY BRIEFING for your local reps on the agreement next week in Bournemouth.

Can we just have a bit of patience and let the union do it's job in an orderly way.

That's totally irrelevant, I meant local area reps. The point is we are going to be given the info in next few days so CALM DOWN (dear it's only a comercial).

Jay58, i dont know where you heard that but you heard wrong . You're a good example of why some of the drama queens on here should wait til they see the agreement before deciding its crap.Personally i havent decided what way to vote yet and wont until i see the agreement but does anyone honestly believe that the national union have spent 3 months talking to royal Mail and got us nothing. Some of you need to get a grip and work out who the real enemy is.

Im going to form a initial opinion once it has been released, then a few days before close of ballot will decide how to vote.

Its not what you hear that's important. But what you read and what you vote when you have read it.
