Go for it T.B.T. ,i take its your rest day,You wont be scabbing the strike starts at 7pm,i myself along with other bods in my office are doing docket this week,we are not working to rule or performing an offical overtime ban as far as im aware as long as no one works during the strike day i really dont see a problem, just make sure that you start at the right time saturday morning.

The only thing i would query is 8 hrs enough to do the duty, thats what im gonna get and it wont be enough as the walk im doing is not my own,is very heavy and the bloke on it comes in at 4.00 some days,i wont be 5.30 on the dot,40 min meal break e.t.c. :Very Happy

Our rep worked 8 hours O/T the day after the last strike and it didn't trouble his conscience.
I'll bet you will be on the picket line on Friday. I would sooner it go to a good union man than a scab or someone who couldn't be bothered putting a bit of time in on the picket line. It might as well be you as one of those mate.

The strike doesn't begin until 1900 Thursday - so any work carried out before that would just be the normal run of the mill overtime offered throughout a normal week - no harm in doing it - it won't affect the strike action one jot.

I agree with most on here , if you want the O/T , then go for it, TBT.

As has been already said , better it goes to a good union man, than a scab. :cool

I agree with the other comments, rather it goes to a CWU Member than a S. C. A. B.
