Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway Supporting the Strike

[Tamsky]

Had been hopeful that some acceptable agreement would have been reached to avert the national strike so left it till tonight to ring round reps I know to see what the feeling is amongst the membership. Checked all offices bar one. Around 700 to 800 members. Reports are that the strike will be fully supported in all offices. At most expect 30 OPG's to cross the picket line. Fewer than in 2007.
