 just tell the Manager he should only be paying the person who signs for having delivered them.

At my place they said you are only paid for prepping them not delivery them. SO I asked why are we paid more for heavier ones then :arrrghhh - still waiting for an answer.

 Well, if that is the case, i want back payments for all the times I have had to fling in the wretched things, whilst prepping up duties. Does this mean they do not have to pay us when we take them out, because that is what they seem to be saying. time for the unions to clarify. From now on, i will prep mine but not take them out problem solved.

You should be delivering 20% per day, during your normal working hours. If putting them in the frame helps you, then put them into the frame, again during your normal working day. At the end of the week you sign for the number you delivered, and get paid for them.

Payment for D2D has always been on delivery. Hence fallen foul of RMs conduct code for non-delivery, fraudulent claims etc, etc. The only contentious area over the years has been the 'prep' of D2D. Whether the D2Ds are prepped at home or office, posties have umpteen different methods of assembling the D2Ds for delivery. Personally I favour prepping them 'live' on the day as it helps fill out the waiting time for the mis-sort run at present. Once the autumn pressure kicks in O/T and cut-offs come into play too.
