Need to find out if i should have been paid. Have already been told that as I Am not longer on trial I can have 4 times off or max combined of 14 days in a year before stage 1. I am part time have been with RM 10 months came off trial at 6 months

I went into work friday became ill and was sent home so had the saturday off to recover fully ( i thought).Anyway went back in monday all okish but Tuesday by the end of my walk was ill again.was adviced to take rest of week off.Got my pay packet and was totally blown away that I had no wages !! is there a delay in sick pay or is there just NO sick pay.

As far as I understand it you don't get sick leave in the first year of service, but you will get statuary sick pay after 3 days of abscence. Think its about 90 quid a week. Also if you go sick again after being on SSP within a short space of time (Not sure of the actual duration,) you will get SSP from day one. I think if you google ssp you will go to a direct gov website that will put you straight.
