Geo-route: Improves ones social life.

Remember this being used as a selling point for introducing geo-route that as we will all be starting later then evenings out and our whole social life will improve because of it. Well as a 35 year old with an 8 year old daughter i can honestly say im more knackered than before. For 15 or so years was used to finishing between 12 and 1pm, get home, bite to eat and then the much needed 1 to 2 hours power nap in the afternoon. Set me up lovely for evenings out or a late film on the box. Nowadays im permanently tired. Get home about 2.30 to 3. Rush down a drink and then straight out to school to pick the daughter up. Can honestly say when it comes to a saturday im shattered. Would go back to the 5am till 1pm shift anyday.

It started out ok...6 am starts and got home an hour later.
But now they want long and shorts and we have to work 5.30 till 2.15 on the longs,which means we are knackered weds/thursday/friday evenings and saturday too tired to drink my 4th pint :(.
I'd also prefer to go back to 5 o clock start tbh.
