Re: Savings plan
I had one a few years ago for £3,000 and got back £4,800
The Mrs had a few over the years which as good as doubled
I have another one which matures in November but like most of us have as good as spent it all what ever the sum is.Alot depends on the stock market and interest rates i think on what your final amount will be,but you all ways get your sum assured no matter what.

Re: Savings plan
I've got one maturing in june,it's for £1500 which was just over £3.00 a week, last statement i got it was worth £1635.
From memory there was a couple of years when we didn't get any bonuses.
The way i look at the CWFS stuff, the loans are great, really cheap interest, and everything comes out of our wages before we get it,which makes it easier to save.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Savings plan
as was stated earlier the loans are what you borrowed plus about £60 admin, you get a sum assured ammount when you take out the policy so as long as you pay it up anything beyond this is a bonus, also if you die they pay out in full (honestly, what would you care your dead) and the money comes out before you've pay tax on your wages.
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP
