Re: XMAS BONUS
"For each full week where basic pay is reduced for Sick Pay Pension Rate,
the individual will lose one quarter of the supplement.
For each week where basic pay is reduced for Sick Half Pay, the
individual will lose one-eigth of the supplement."
"Due to the fact that calculations and payment of the Christmas Supplement are made during the 4 week
eligibility period, it is inevitable that some employees will be underpaid and some overpaid.
HR Services will be working on these exceptions once the Christmas period is over and all under and
over payments will be fully adjusted in employees' pay on Friday 23rd January 2009."

Re: XMAS BONUS
Pity they weasel out of the bonus for part time employers who did 15+ hours per week overtime extra during the session.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

He should have given the PT staff FT contracts for the Xmas pressure periodTrueBlueTerrier wrote:My lineo is going back to Sheffield as I pointed out that PT doing mostly FT hours over Xmas should get the full bonus £100 - ask your lineo.IPS wrote:Pity they weasel out of the bonus for part time employers who did 15+ hours per week overtime extra during the session.
which would have made them eligible for the full £100 Xmas bonus.
Well done to your lineo for trying to get PT staff the full £100.
Let us know what happens TBT, but I suspect he won't get any joy.
Next year PT staff should insist that they be given FT contracts over Xmas pressure.
Get on to your line managers, DOMs, and CWU Reps.
