Royal Mail has been blighted by a 'them and us' scenario and an aggresive postal workers online forum has only served to highlight the deep problems faced by Royal Mail in its ability to modernise the service and take its 'people' with it in the process.
I hope then f***ing don't mean us. (ps Mr White its a joke) - not quite sure how you can be an aggressive on-line forum though unless we have been trading cyber punches with each other. :left:

There's actually some fair points raised in that article, especially regarding the "us and them" culture. But if they played fair, I'm sure we would.

I think you'll find a lot of us, totally agree with you. I'm sick and tried of being called names by HM and other people, just because I try and stand up for what is fair, try and protect other people who are to harressed or bullied to help themselves.

Why is it when people try and make life better or stand up to management that they are always trouble makers? Why is it, when I use the same rule book as RM, but choose to look at things in a different way, I'm classed as a pain in the ass, just because I ask questions of management that others want to or haven't thought of, I'm being awkward, the rule book is there in black and white for anyone to make of as they wish, just because I think my way is best, doesn't mean I'm not prepared to be talked around to someone else's point of view, that is why I come to some where like this forum. I don't always agree with what is being said, but I want to live in a country with free speech, so I have to accept not everything I hear is what I like or believe, but I can always put my point of view and know I tried.

Quote from the Hellmail article ...
Mandelson is barely anyone's cup of tea and one has to question the government's decision to even recruit him

It's no surprise to me that Mandelson is attempting a back-door privatisation

Well quite. To be honest its a fair comment on how things are. Even the line where he talks about being aggressive mentions why we're not happy.
