Post by uprising95 »

i have been with royal mail 15 months
love the job i thinks its great.

but hearing all this stuff on the news about royal mail selling this and doing that -i mean i don't fully understand whats going off its just today ive actually thought about it.
i always think that my career with royal mail wont last for as long as i hope. i like to last for years if not till i retire.

does anyone think this way or have any information to help

Hard to say my friend. We are living in "interesting times" and it will be hard to predict what is going to happen to any of us. Opening up the market to other operators and leaving us the labour intensive bit and the USO was ,in my opinion, the beginning of the end of Royal Mail as we know it. I feel sorry for people like you who have recently joined and have a long working life in front of them. It's not so bad for us oldies as we've done our time and frankly have had enough. Good luck for the future mate. :confused
