D2D prep, time and delivery

With the new DM26 way of working, we now only have 3 days on one side, and 2 on the other to get rid of all the D2Ds

1 day on each side is a treble mail day, so it's ideal to get rid of the D2Ds. But the time to prep 6 lots is virtually impossible to get a full side prepped, never mind half

What happened to they'll be prepped on Saturday?

As a none driver, my duty on a Saturday should be prepping walks for delivery, then putting in d2ds. I have yet to prep a single d2d on a Saturday as I’m sent out here, there and everywhere to clear up different cutoffs from the Friday or before.

Why, if DM26 is such a success, are there cutoffs every single day?

The utopian idea sold to us was that they would all be magically done on the Saturday for the following week. First week this indeed did happen but the following 11 weeks as the office has descended into DM26 chaos you can guess what’s happened……
Some people are coming in early on overtime to prep theirs but others who don’t fancy getting up early to prep s**t that goes straight in customers recycling….well theirs are sitting comfy under frames. Who knows when/if they will get delivered.

i had the friday/saturday off. Came in on Monday and not one letter had been prepped in either frame i look after. on both days. not one D2D can be prepped due to no time left for delivery, but they expect all D2Ds prepped on Monday. Just feck off, utter shambles
