I have been signed off for work stress by my doctor, do I need to contact OH as well. Im not really feeling up to it, I am not sure how it all works which is making me more anxious.

Make sure your manager has got your fit note. You can ask to be referred to OH when your manager rings.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.

Speak to your GP and discuss what will help. When you speak to your employer ask what help is available. Take the time you have been signed unfit for work to get better.
