New entrants

Post by Peabrain22 »

Good afternoon..
Do we know of any new entrants who have actually been uplifted after 3 years .. the first to come through were in December past..I know personally im 3 years in August if I can get to that part of the year..
And on a footnote what genuinely is going on with the first step of equalization that was alleged to be set in stone Sept 1st..

Don't pay the subs, put that money into an AVC pension or whatever instead.

Ward and Walsh are on fortune’s, 150k in Wards case. That kind of salary generally has other perks like multiple weeks off over holiday periods. None of these con artists have been at work since 15th of December. I’m sure they will raise their heads next week and will be begging us for support as they have once again conned/lied to the members and failed in negotiations with RM. There will be no equalising new entrants and the new USO could possibly just be imposed by Royal Mail over the coming months.

All going to a good cause, Wards holiday home where he can sit and pontificate about “expanding the role of the postal worker”

If RM do impose the USO how can you blame the CWU if they've done everything to block it apart from IA?

It’s not so much that I could blame them for it being brought in. It’s the false bravado and bullshit statements they constantly release saying it’s not gunna happen without them and that new entrants will be equalised. It’s all just guff and lies. They’ve been doing this kind of crap for the last 6 years and it’s just boring now to be honest.
That last deal they done after we all striked was an absolute disgrace, can never forgive them for that.

As for cwu doing all they can it was them that didn't have the staying power last IA they rolled over to save their cushy jobs, sold our sick pay and then allowed for the inferior contracts that in my opinion with lead not to leveling up but :thumbdown

This made me spit out my tea 😆 I only asked once for help in 36 years and all the union could say was see the managers point of view. Totally utterly useless.

RM are holding the CWU to ransom.
The CWU do NOT agree to changes being made in delivery & as a consequence RM will NOT agree to any change of contracts for new starters.
Quite mad in that RM will probably be making those changes anyway as they think the trial offices were successful.
I would not be looking forward to being in delivery this year!!

They could agree on ODM being brought in return for equalisation.

Either party are more than capable of not keeping their end of the deal.
