I emptied the van on the road, removing 30 collection packets, all 20kg, about 50 Tracked packets, and all my bags and boxes, tipping all the boxes out. The back of the van was totally empty, and it's nowhere to be seen

It might just turn up in totally unexpectedly somewhere where you've looked but have overlooked it (that's happened to me with box keys before!) or you might have posted it accidentally especially if it was one of those stupid franked letters with no silver sticker on it.

My old partner used to deliver all the specials before he even started his walk, I believe he still does

When I started they were treated as special and should never leave your sight; nowadays I see them left all over the office with no regard whatsoever.
