These were handed out today in my office as a thank you from Royal Mail…I do really hope we are going to get our Christmas bonus this year and not this chocolate bar instead But it was a very tasty bit of chocolate I must say

It's an empty message. They think a chocolate bar will make people go above and beyond. How about incentivising us with better overtime rates or a daily monetary bonus for completing.

and even so, they get something back from the chocolate bar, an energy boost while we are out on the round. Imagine if every postie's goes jus that slightest bit faster so that we claim five minutes less overtime. Chocolate bar pays for itself.

It reminded Me of those sweet sugary chocolate spanner’s and tools that woolies sold at Xmas. Any one remember them?

We haven't had our chocolate bars handed out, yet. If it's anything like the Easter eggs that were supposed to be distributed during Covid, but sat in a store room for 3 months before mysteriously disappearing, they won't ever be.
