Re: 50% parcel increase
EVRI are struggling, so who gets their work? Us as usual. Our office was absolutely swamped with ASOS parcels this morning. These are meant to be delivered by EVRI, the majority of the parcels and clothing. I've never seen anything like in 9 years of working here. No one taking breaks, sick through the roof, people turning up late.

Why are people not taking breaks? You won’t get paid for working through, and management doesn’t care less about your wellbeingleighvilla1983 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2025, 17:16EVRI are struggling, so who gets their work? Us as usual. Do we still get our 10% share of the post-tax profits. That'll be.....£4 per employee pro rota.

Exactly this. We make sure we have a break at the same stage of our walks. One, because we`re hungry, and two, you need a break , both mentally and physically to be able to do the second part.matthew68 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2025, 17:24Why are people not taking breaks? Re: 50% parcel increase
Our DO gets loads of ASOS LATs, if your DO was only swamped today were they just the T24's from the weekend LATs?leighvilla1983 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2025, 17:16EVRI are struggling, so who gets their work? I saw our local EVRI courier still working at 5pm tonight, he now works longer hours than your average postie, is own car must be taking a battering being driven for 9/10 hours a day.

Re: 50% parcel increase
I can't see parcels can be up 50% in just one DO unless you've taken work from local DO's? I reckon ours are up 20%/25%, it now seems virtually impossible to deliver any post as parcels take most of your shift to deliver but the post boxes I entered today were all rammed with Christmas cards!!dazzler123 wrote: ↑07 Dec 2025, 23:45our manager told us this is a huddle this week. Re: 50% parcel increase
Today we were told no parcel relief as they are swamped, and all agency are spoken for. That along with 5 lots of door to doors. This is excruciating

Doesn't help that the rounds are 30% bigger than they were this time last year

It won't have been an exclusive contract no company would put all their eggs in one basket.TooManyLoops wrote: ↑08 Dec 2025, 20:56Why are EVRI meant to deliver them? Re: 50% parcel increase
Apparently they're 20% up in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Didn't have Shein last year at this volume, and Boots have gone through the roof. Our division's ok, but others are saying it's a week since they delivered any mail.
