Maybe Dave and Martin have finally realised the Billionaire who bought the company couldn’t give two f***s about the staff or the unions delusional ideas. It’s taken them a while but maybe the penny has finally dropped.
This rep meeting is probably laying the groundwork for a dispute with EP group as they won’t budge on USO reform and levelling up of new entrants. God help us.

All my union rep has done is organise for him and his mates to come off their durties and come in at 3am for early sorting with a nice 10am finish. Absurd. The laziest person ive ever known in royal mail.

What happened to the post giving full details of what was going to be announced at Monday's meeting?

The 'senior' reps have been instructed to attend an online meeting on Monday. They will be told what they are to say to the area reps.

I suspect it will be something like RM are saying that they can't afford to equalise contract and you have to sell this to the staff or R/M will stop full time releases. The union will have to pay them or they will have to do some work and not spend all day smoking and drinking coffee in the managers office.

There is definitely an impasse in the negotiations, or impasses, hence the CWU now scrambling into action.

All most of it was true and somebody didn't want it released before Monday's meeting? Nothing really stood out as being totally wrong information.

"Action" , you say?

Strongly worded letter? A live youtube Q&A with Dave Ward? Watch out Royal Mail, the CWU are coming!
