Its reasonable to do the calculation. If the outdoor is 4 hrs say then thats 37 1/2 items an hour. One item every two minutes. Is it that as fair workload? The CWU say you can do 50 packets an hour.

145 large is about right for a longer day. 160 small tracked could also be doable as some will post through but mail will fail.

Today was nuts and it sounds like it was the same up&down the country.

I had 71 tracked on a rural and didn’t get started until 10:30 and delivered about 90% of the mail finishing at 4pm.

Obviously depends how heavy the mail is, but as a general rule - I think once you start getting anything over 50 parcels per duty then that's when the risk of not being able to complete is right on the edge on medium to heavy mail days.

You union say you should be doing 50 an hour? Really? So if I get out at 10 and finish at 3, I should be doing 250? that can't be right .

It's dependent on a number of factors. What is the geography and nature of the duty. How many are letter box sized. Most importantly, how much a f**k I no longer give.

Quite frankly, im sick and tired of having my integrity questioned every day due to unrealistic workloads by a f***ing useless manager. Working for RM is like being in an abusive relationship.

3 Duties, 20 minutes from the office, so -40 minutes total.

1 Van

1 Duty with 1 days mail, classed as a 5 hour single delivery, + 80 Tracked, 10 Specials, 3 boxes & various customer collections.

1 Duty with 5 (yes, 5) days mail (that I have never done before after the ‘revision’) (classed as a 5 hour delivery with 1 days mail)
No Tracked, but specials and customer collections.

1 Duty’s specials, customer collections and boxes.

First loop started at 10:10am

Home time 14:20pm

Manager…. Why didn’t you complete?? 🤣🤣🤣

No idea what's going on with the make up of our business but everything seems to be in boxes, big and small, letter box sized items seem to be disappearing and even clothing in plastic bags seems to be reducing.

I sense Father's Day as led to today's increase, going off track you do wonder how we're not making bigger profits from .all the tracked items we're now delivering, it's hard to believe most of us could deliver many more.

Has anybody heard from TB following his suggestions that we only worked 12,000 steps a day?
