Board Resignation

Post by rogersh »

CWU - Latest from the Branch - Dated 30/04/2025

EP GROUP TAKEOVER CONFIRMED (Edit)

..."We understand there is still likely to be a further four-week period before the current board resign and EP Group are in place to actually run the company. We also understand this extended period is due to the current board fulfilling their final fiduciary responsibilities....."

So have the board resigned ?

If the new board are in place imminently will the CWU be negotiating with them regarding Royal Mail Group pay, new entrants terms, sick pay, USO, VR’s etc.

So have the board resigned ?
Most of the current board are due to resign as part of the company being de-listed from the stock market, which is expected to happen tomorrow(2 June).
This is taken from a document released on 28th May:
Changes to the IDS Board

Upon the cancellation of listing and admission to trading of IDS Shares, each of Keith Williams, Sarah Hogg, Maria da Cunha, Michael Findlay, Lynne Peacock, Shashi Verma, Jourik Hooghe and Ingrid Ebner will resign as non-executive directors of IDS. At the same time or shortly thereafter, certain representatives of EP will be appointed as non-executive directors of IDS.

Martin Seidenberg, the Chief Executive Officer of the IDS Group, and Michael Snape, the Chief Financial Officer of the IDS Group, will continue in their respective roles.

A further announcement will be made in due course as the IDS board changes take effect as well as upon the appointment of additional independent non-executive directors to the IDS Board.

It's an absolute disgrace. This was their intention all along as he increased his holding. All those vile tossers on the board made millions from this sale while us sad saps have to face the reality as a privately owned company employee. Its bleak to say the least. Life as we knew it will be even further away in a few months. Good luck everyone.
