We have been told that interweek swaps, that is to say swaps that cover more than one week are simply not allowed
as to use a technical term it `buggers up the system`.
Is this actually policy, or can it be challenged?
We hear that it actually already has happened once.
Not something for me that comes up any more often than every couple of years but can be useful.
It actually has already caused problems for management as they tried to get someone in on their day off
which was a Thursday, he agreed if he could have the following Tuesday (which suited everyone as staffing was much better).
However this could not be done as it covered more than one week.
So again my question is `is this actually policy?` as i say it rarely comes up but its just one more irritating restriction on us.
