Mad Dogs and Posties Go Out In The Midday Sun

Post by Bootie »

After todays lovely weather and our new short and long days, our out time today and tomorrow is 10.40 and the finish time is 2.40pm.

How many of us are going to suffer sun stroke or skin cancer due to the shortsighteness of Management.

I'd rather deliver early or later, this new scheme mucks up my siesta. :Very Happy

Remember the floppy wide brimmed hats that RM issued last year - good idea in principle but a very poor quality product that wouldn't keep it's shape!

If any of you have a TKMaxx store near you , have a look in the menswear area - I picked up a DENTS navy blue bush hat there last week for £7.99 (normally £30) and it's excellent. Similar quality to the Canadian Tilley hat but a lot less expensive. All round deep brim stops your neck burning and keeps the sun off your eyes. dark green underbrim.

I remembered to wear a hat but didn't turn up my collars (Cantona stylie) and so my neck (and ears!) was bad on Tuesday. :coolr
