Too right, I'm absolutely convinced that they think the job is minimum wage fodder that a shaved monkey could do, as we're all aware it isn't, ok it's not rocket science but it certainly takes a lot more nounce than say for example restocking shelves in a supermarket, it's puzzling me what their game is as they struggle to get staff now so if they drag it right down to barely above minimum wage level for new starters they'll have no chance.

I would argue their agenda is more sinister and cynical than that
These parasites know EXACTLY what the job involves and how long it generally takes if done properly...they just do not care
All they care about is later start times and take everything out and finish it all....no matter the finish time or physical/mental toll it has on you.
They want their pound of flesh no matter what
They hope/expect/want long term staff to leave - and have an increasinly large % of the workforce on rubbish contracts...and are quite happy to have a large turnover of staff - get to the gig economy Amazon/Evri etc economic model as quickly as possible
All part of the medium/long term plan
